We are pleased to announce a significant collaboration between AGROCROPS and VAS GREEN FPC, aiming to enhance farming practices in Veera Cholan village, Virudhunagar. Our joint initiative introduces the high oleic seed: HOPE (GIRNAR-4) to local farmers, marking a substantial advancement in agricultural productivity. These groundnut seeds have a high yield ratio up to 41-57% pod yields compared to other local groundnut varieties, significantly improving profitability for smallholder farmers.

Superior Yield, Resilience, and Profitability of HOPE Seeds

HOPE seeds exhibit a high-yielding bunch variety with moderate resistance to prevalent diseases such as leaf spots and stem rots. With a maturity period of 110-115 days and an average shelling rate of 67%, these seeds offer reliability and efficiency.

Benefits beyond the Field

Beyond yield enhancements, our collaboration provides tangible economic benefits to farmers. Through our free distribution of HOPE seeds or direct and on time procurement by Agrocrops, we alleviate the financial burden associated with acquiring certified seeds and post-harvest logistics.
